About Me
Life is a journey, or a wild river, I'm not really sure. After 5 years of study and 10 years of work I became something like the engineer I wanted to be, I realized my PhD research with a startup company and even got married. Then it took a turn, I got divorced, I started training and finished an Ironman, I took an adventure guide and lifeguard course, and got hired to work at Antarctica for 18 months. Currently, I'm living in Sweden with my girlfriend, working for a research institute, which is quite a good deal, but I have no idea how it will continue.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel a lot, both for work and pleasure, and I like writing about my travels too. Mostly I go outdoors, but occasionally I visit cities as well. I enjoy meeting local people and talking about their life and the places they know. I also gladly welcome guests. I a have small cosy flat with my girlfriend with enough room for two more persons. Gothenburg is a fantastic city and I like to show it to people.
Interests
I write a blog about true adventures that would fit into story books to inspire and help people making their own dream adventure come true: https://gaborgereb.com/
I like to make photos, which I store at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/gaborgereb/

One flew over the cocoos nest, Godfather, Pulp fiction, Fight club, Lord of the Rings, Inception (in fact everything from Nolan and Tarantino).
Recently I'm buried in books about discoveries like Scott and Amundsen, The Endurance, but I read classic literature, fantasy, crime and political thrillers too.
