Overview
About Me
Divorced in 2010, with a bout of sever depression from that, stopped practicing law (too stressful) and went back into IT. In therapy, my therapist told me I was funny and suggested I do stand-up; so I did.
Since starting that, I have written many jokes and just finished a comic screenplay which I am peddling. Wish me luck!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Shoe string budget while traveling to gain interest in the movie, "Cured."
Interests
I like scientific stuff - semi-addicted to the Discovery Channel...
I perform at open mic for stand-up when I can get to them. I love my friends who are emotionally (and occasionally financially) supportive of my comedic venture(s).
If nothing else mattered, I'd be sailing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fairly eclectic in musical tastes - Chopin to Steely Dan to Pink Floyd to Metallica. I used to play music in college but gave it up to get a real job and co-head a family.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I pretended that I was gay for four days to attend a 'pray the gay away' conference just to get the inside scoop on it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty good Italian-style cook. Always willing to cook with folks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A sense of humor and life experiences ranging from time at a merchant marine academy to music school to running my own IT company to losing it all during the dotCom crash to starting over with law school to divorce (generally not recommended) to eventually being happy.
