About me needs actually to be "about us".

This is Gabrielle (33) and my account. Gabrielle is French, I am German.
A couple of years ago she moved to Germany for me :-)

A while ago we moved in a bigger apartment and finally and luckily have the space for guest which is a part of the reason we got a couch surfing account.

Now we have an almost three year old daughter who's also will be happy to meet couchsurfer.

Martin:
I have a 9 year old son. He lives with his mother but as often as possible he stays with me. I am really proud of him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and love to meet new people. It is always a great experience to meet people from all over the world.

Interests

Martin:
I really like sport.
The black forest is a great place for mounting biking, street biking and running. Beside this and depending on the whether I like badminton, squash swim mining and Thai boxing.

Gabrielle:
I am in to handcraft such as crochet, sewing ... Interest in healthy life style (vegetarian food, alternative cleaning supplies ...) I am just soaking up the information I get and also really like to try different things out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gabrielle:
I like nearly all sorts of music from rap to classic.I like reading and watching about true stories. Books about health and diferent ways of living, consuming,... are usually on my night table.

Martin:
The book I like the most in the last years was " I am off than" a book aboout a German actor who walked the Camino de Santiago.
Other than that I like travel books to plan new trips.
To be honest I cant say so much about Music ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gabrielle:
Martin loves managing our holidays, it could be his job, and I love discovering new countries and cultures with him. For 2 years, during our trip in thailand, we visited Laos for some days with a scooter, Was great there, the nature, locals, bathing in the rivers, traveling on a night train....great adventure

Martin:
For me the most amazing thing was a one year trip around Australia and South East Asia. What you see and experience there, especially with the time I had is just amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We live close to the black forest, Switzerland and France. Depending on the season, the time and the interest we can do everything from hiking, biking, motorbike tour and sightseeing.
