My passion is environmental conservation, specifically fish and wildlife. I love exploring the outdoors and soaking in nature's beauty. I'm also really into biology, linguistics, history and sports (specifically basketball and MMA...though I am Canadian so there's a little hockey thrown in there). One of the main reasons I'm so eager to travel is I love learning about other cultures. Also, I absolutely love beer and whiskey.

Books: As far as fiction goes I'm a huge nerd and love Tolkien and George RR Martin.

Movies: Too many to name, I'm into anything from cheesy martial arts movies to historical dramas. Martin Scorsese is probably my favorite director.

Music: Very varied taste, from norwegian black metal to Appalachian folk music.
