My name is Julie and I have been told that the best way to get through life is to go to school, acquire a degree and work until I'm ready to retire. For the longest time I was convince that maybe this is the better way to get through life. I am a nurse now and working with the elderly. One thing I learned from my patients is that life is too short and at the end of it all, we will have nothing but memories from our journey through it. They always encourage me to get out and have fun, to make mistakes, to get lost, to learn, to discover and to experience. I think it's time I take their advice :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard about the concept of connecting with others from different parts of the world through sharing your space, and I thought it was such a wonderful idea since traveling has been something that I wanted to do for a long time. I recently just decided to stop waiting for the right time and to just go for it.

I've met the man of my dreams who has not travel outside of the country and I would love show him what's it's like to experience other cultures and to meet people from other parts of this amazing world. I have met some amazing couchsurfers throughout my travels and I'm here to hopefully continue meeting others through this site and make long life friends!
