About Me
Hey you,
I am aTurkish student who has been living in Karlsruhe, Germany for over 7 years now. I hold a bachelor degree in industrial engineering and management and now I am coming to the end of my graduate studies.
I am an open minded person and interested in cultural exchange as well as social interaction. This way I aim to unterstand the outer world around me.
I consider myself as a calm person in general. It doesn't mean that I don't enjoy partying. I just live the things at slow pace and keep the balance. But I don’t like sitting around and doing the same things. I enjoy taking actions spontaneously .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, explore and experience. During the years I was active in international student associations I travelled to many places, hosted students and was hosted by the students. This made me realize that you have to interact with the locals to truly explore and experience a country and its culture. Moreover I enjoy travelling alone and finding people to hang out in the destination. Therefore I would like to continue travelling using couchsurfing. I am still new here :)
Interests
Dance is one of my passions. I love dancing salsa, bachata, kizomba and tango. Thereforefore I try to go to dance parties whenever I travel somewhere. Besides that I regulary do sport and follow a healthy lifestyle. I am totally a foodie, eat almost everything and love trying out new things.
I like, no matter what, learning new things and develop myself. So I enjoy going museums, exhibitions, reading and discussing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to any kind of music if it sounds nice to me ;) Hovewer I must admit that I am not a fan of hard rock and metal. As you can guess I love latin music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a social internship in Peru in summer 2013. Together with 13 trainees from different countries I organized workshops with secondary school students about environmental responsiblity. It was amazing to see how we achieved creating an awareness among the students. For this I lived 7 weeks in Lima and I was hosted by a local family. It was nice becoming a part of them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to dance and cook Turkish food. I would like to share my experience of living abroad and travelling. You can also practice language with me ( Turkish, English and German), do sport have, deeper conversations about politics. I am open to sharing and learning together, so any suggestions are welcome! :)
