Hi! My name is Charlotte, but friends call me Lotte or just Lott (mind the double T). I love chocolate, hate brussels sprouts and am indiferent about lettuce. It's just lettuce.

I have a bachelor's degree in media, but at this moment I'm not really putting it to use, since I'm a management trainee at a restaurant. Which restaurant you ask? McDonald's. See, there are all these misconceptions about McDonald's. It's not as easy or simple as many people seem to think. But, I'm not here to talk about the characteristics of a perfect hamburger. I love hamburgers too, by the way.

Traveling has always been quite a big part of my life. I drove my scooter around town all the time. I've also been to a lot of countries, but that was mostly when I was still wearing diapers, so I don't know if that counts? In recent years I've been to the US, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, England and France. The latter one was solely to visit Disneyland Paris. Oh yeah, I love Disney as well.

There's so much more to tell, of course. I'm quite interesting, if I may say so myself. Oh and my mom thinks so too. But I'll just leave it at this for now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about it. I laughed at her. Then I checked and it's pretty cool! I'm going to Portugal in May, so it May (ha!) be interesting to meet some people there!

Oh, and: playing the piano, reading, going out, hanging out with friends.. my life sounds boring when I put it like this, but it really isn't. Really!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, except for the typical (dreadful) Dutch music. I don't even know why it is called music in the first place.

Movies, depends on my mood. And how many chocolate is available.

Books? I LOVE books. From psychology, to chicklit, to fantasy, to non-fiction. Give me a good book and you'll have a special place in my mind. No, not my heart. Let's not get too touchy feely here.
