Overview
About Me
Bit of a geek, who likes nothing more than sitting round a dinner table and leaping into the heart of a conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it pulls together kindness, adventure, social sincerity and a real access point -- to a city, a culture and a person. And because I connect best with fellow nomads.
Interests
Good conversation and decent wine or tea always make my day. I love spending time outside, but am equally happy by the fire reading aloud, or listening. Let us be friendly.

Music, Movies, and Books
- Music: You name it. Classical, indie, jazz, electronic, country, soul, pagan, pirate metal.
- Movies: My favourite movie is The Sting, because it exemplifies the best of movie fun. It's a caper about a cheeky friendship and a clever heist in the name of revenge. Set in a time and place you can practically smell.
- Books: As a lit major and library rodent, I enjoy journals (Kinfolk, Lapham's etc.) as well as fine, hard books such as The Historian, Ulysses, and Teju Cole's Known & Strange Things. But the pinnacle is still The Hobbit, because of that most memorable plot twist.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to share a few culinary uses of lavender, teach you how to make an origami crane and listen to any and all things you have to share. Every day is a chance to learn new things!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, food, whatever I'm reading, origami, flowers and (maybe some day) letters.
