Overview
About Me
I'm 29, originally from Zurich, the Swiss German part of Switzerland. Since 9 years I've been living in Lausanne, the French part of happy cow land.
I like taking things slowly rather than rushing into everything. I think I can say that I'm very easy going, always up for anything, a good listener, a giver rather than a taker and I always try to make everybody feel as comfortable and happy as possible - which makes me very happy too...so win-win!
I like any kind of DIY - especially when I'm really stressed with stuff from university, I can become quite creative and spend looooong loooong nights knitting, making jewelry, drawing or whatever crosses my mind.
When it comes to food, I have to accept that I might be a little bit addicted to chili...the spicier my meal, the better! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and meeting people from different places all over the world. It gives you a completely different perspective and enriches your general knowledge more than studies ever could.
Interests
Languages FASCINATE me. I speak german, english, french an spanish.
This goes hand in hand with learning about different cultures, finding out why people believe this or that and how different societies work.
Besides traveling, I like reading books and watch good movies.
I enjoy running by the lake and snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy going to concerts! Live music is just priceless.
I must say that I kind of got stuck with a few CDs I just love. And if I like something, I can just listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it. - until I discover something new!
Spontaneously, I would say that the movies that I enjoyed a lot are Mr. Nobody, Her, Science of Sleep, The Broken Circle Breakdown, No Country for Old Men, Cloud Atlas...and there's many many more!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook real Mexican food (not the Taco Bell style) and how to pronounce "chuchichästli".
