About Me
Hi there,
I'm Sambhav. Born and raised in the heart of Delhi which is also known as the walled city of Old Delhi. I love history and politics. I conduct heritage walks through Old Delhi and other parts of the city. My other interest lies in languages.
For now, I work as a freelancer.
PS- If you are a tourist here in Delhi, please send me a message if you need any local information about Delhi. I would love to help as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In 2015, I made a backpacking trip around the world. I covered only 17 countries and fell in love with every place I went to. I see Couchsurfing as a great way of connecting with people who feel the same desire to make a connection with other cultures and societies.
Interests
I love writing, watching movies, history, languages, activism and I am a big foodie. In my mind, I am collecting memories of meeting you, those conversations we had or we are about to have. At various occassions, I even take out my mobile phone to write a phrase that you just uttered in your language and later I ask you for the meaning. The thing is I am crazy about learning human behavior which is expressed through all these things like, languages, culture, habits. One of my friend thinks that I will end up becoming an anthropologist. I like that idea very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 15, I made a solo trip to Kashmir on my own. I had to lie to my parents that it was a school organised trip. That trip that i made 15 years ago was a life changing experience. I think that's amazing.
