I'm an artist, writer and educator currently doing a PhD (in Performance and Theatre) in London.
I'm into arts and socialising. I've done performing, writing, directing , singing and loads of other things in tens of performances in different countries. I grew up in Tehran, Iran (where I've made great friends from around the world) and have been living/studying/working in London for seven years now.

I get along very well with people and I'm the clean/responsible type. I can totally entertain and take care of myself while travelling. Most of my travels happen for performing or other art-related works so I mind my own business while I enjoy an occasional chat, shared food or drink.

I play different types of flute (usually not when I'm travelling), do a bit of drawing and sculpting. I carry my scrapbook everywhere and take notes, doodle and other stuff.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm keen to visit new places and I like to mix that with meeting new people. Also it's great to reduce the financial barrier of travelling (as host and guest). I've been both a host and a 'surfer' many times through friends I've made mostly 'offline' and some via couchsurfing. I love to share ideas with others and learn more about different cultures/people/life styles and share a drink or food if time permits.
