I'm a walker, and so I walk. I might cycle or skate too, but I rather walk. Trains can be alright as I can walk in them... I hate planes though.

PHILOSOPHY

To live as the hummingbird story-

One day a terrible fire broke out in a forest - a huge woodlands was suddenly engulfed by a raging wild fire. Frightened, all the animals fled their homes and ran out of the forest.
As they came to the edge of a stream they stopped to watch the fire and they were feeling very discouraged and powerless. They were all bemoaning the destruction of their homes.
Every one of them thought there was nothing they could do about the fire, except for one little hummingbird. This particular hummingbird decided it would do something. It swooped into the stream and picked up a few drops of water and went into the forest and put them on the fire. Then it went back to the stream and did it again, and it kept going back, again and again and again.
All the other animals watched in disbelief; some tried to discourage the hummingbird with comments like, "Don't bother, it is too much, you are too little, your wings will burn, your beak is too tiny, it’s only a drop, you can't put out this fire."
And as the animals stood around disparaging the little bird’s efforts, the bird noticed how hopeless and forlorn they looked. Then one of the animals shouted out and challenged the hummingbird in a mocking voice, "What do you think you are doing?" And the hummingbird, without wasting time or losing a beat, looked back and said, "I am doing what I can."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel is one of my loves in life, and I think that CS is one of the best options to do it. For me a trip is not to travel somewhere and take some pictures. I want to know people, do the things people do where I travel and learn another ways of life!!
(Never forget to do the same when you travel, bring all of your energy with you so anyone can enjoy it regardless where you are)

Easiest way to find these hidden breathtaking spots of the world?? Be with someone that can lead the way!!!

It helps you travel without moving from your livingroom, bringing vibes from all over the world to your place, full of different stories and ways to enjoy life... and if you are lucky enough even grastronomy from the other side of the world!!!!

And as LOVE is FREE!!

Your neighbour doesn't answer back when you say hello??? No worries, there is someone thousand of miles away more than happy to open his house and welcome you with a warm cup of tea!!

Interests

Live music, going out for a beer, jugling, enjoying a good meal, sunsets, to get lost into a forest.

I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar.I have been "on" it for what, 20 years? but I just manage to play a few songs.. anyway I'm happy as it is!
