It's quite difficult to describe myself! well, I come from Barcelona, Spain, and I studied Biomedical Sciences. I love science and my passion is travelling. I can be very shy sometimes, but when I connect with somebody I am super extrovert and I laugh a lot (sometimes too much, which can be contagious). My goal for every day in my life is making somebody else smile and leave the world a bit better than it was when I woke up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfing because I thought it would be a useful way to meet new people when traveling and, at the same time, an easy way to find accommodation. I think CS has changed my vision of traveling, and it has helped me get to know the culture and lifestyle of local people everywhere I've been.

I also take this opportunity to share with you guys my favourite sentence about traveling:
"Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hangout with people whose first language isn't the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn't come from your social class. This is how you can see the world. This is how you grow. "

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Rescuing a lost ladybug in the train in Amsterdam and releasing it in Maastricht.
- Taking 4 trains and 2 buses from Tokyo to see the Japanese Alps 30 hours before my flight back home from Osaka.
- Taking a black tea bath in Kyoto.
- Getting outside home one morning in Leiden, decide to go to Maastricht and end up travelling around Germany.
- Showering while having breakfast.
- Saving a drunk girl from getting run over by a bus in Barcelona.
- Earning the orange belt in Mugendo.
- Facing the Dutch wind and rain when biking (during the six months of my Erasmus).
