About Me
Hello everyone,
I'm Philemon, grew up in Paris, and studied History.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's waaay more fun and interesting to meet people where we travel; discuss, learning, exchange, chill with them, rather than staying in hotels full of tourists! Travelling is not just pointing a finger on a map and say: ``been there, went here, saw this, blabla``.
I love to meet people during my trips, going around places with their knowledge, stay in touch with them and, who knows, welcome them too if they ever come to Paris!

Travels Travels Travels
I like to think that every day is a chance to die less stupid, reason why I would say that I`m a very curious guy, like to discover new things whenever I have the opportunity, wether it is at the corner of my streets or a the other side of the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen very eclectic music, that goes from ``chanson francaise``to ska, passing by jazz, classical, 60`s 70`s rock, gypsies, african, brazilian, cuban music and maaaany more, specially when my feets begin to move by themselves.
I bathe in cinematographic universe since I`m a little little guy and I`ve spent a lot of time watching very different kind of movies, as long as it is not very very big shit
Some says that a good book is as much travel as going far far away! I wouldn`t say that, but it`s true that reading a book while enjoying it is a very very special feelings I can not do without!
French and Russian authors are the one I know the must, but no one equal an american when it comes to tell a common story
