About Me

I'm a calm person that likes to read books, listen to music, go to the theater and learn about science and technology.
Not much of partying, but I enjoy a lot meeting new people :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but I don't like to be a tourist. I believe that the best way to understand a city is from inside out: see its routine, what people eat in their everyday life, how they dress to go work, and just then visit the main touristic locations.
Couchsurfing is an excellent way to do that, both being part of someone else routine and also seeing how they are when traveling.

Interests

Books, music (to play and to listen), movies, plays (theater), being in touch with nature. Prety common things: as I said, I'm just a normal person.

Music, Movies, and Books

Humberto Gessinger (Brasilian singer), Adichie Chimamanda (Nigerian writer), La Sombra del Viento (Spanish book), The Three Body Problem (Chinese book), Happoradio (Finnish band), A Song of Ice and Fire (American series of novels), Dead Poets Society (English movie)

I tried to list one think of each part of the world, thus hopefully you will know at least one of them, hahaha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd traveled by Latin America doing hitchhiking and camping: 4 months on the road. It was a crazy experience, so I hope I can share it with you

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fluent in three languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English (though my English isn't perfect, I can have a conversation easily). I'm also learning Finnish, but it looks like the hardest language in the world!!
I hope we can enjoy a good time talking about languages and human communication :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share you the most valuable thing that I have, and that I always carry with me. I can share with you a little of my memories: the rithm of the Brazilian music, the taste of the Argentine barbeue, the colors of a Peruvian traditional wear... well, you got it ;)

Countries I’ve Visited
