About Me

I am the humanized jack-of-all-trades. I have interests to many things and I have a lot of curiosity about the world has to offer. Because of this, I have a seemingly endless career ambition namely to be a Geologist, Environmental Scientist, Economist, Psychologist, Veterinarian, Culinary Chef, Journalist, Teacher, Linguist and Interior Designer. But I ended up as a Mechanical Engineer.

I have worked as a service engineer trainee under Komatsu in Solwezi, Zambia at the biggest copper mine of Africa. Now, I am continuing my training at Hounde, Burkina Faso, West Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find refuge in all my travels. Every journey gives me the spirit of freedom and independence as I roam around a place. These travels have given me opportunities to commune with nature.

I am on Couchsurfing to meet as many people and travelers as I can and learn from their different but wonderful stories. I also want to share my stories and the lessons that impacted my life from my travels. Importantly, I am on couchsurfing to prove that it does not cost a lot to seek out the world and that there a re a lot of kind-hearted people that will give you what they can offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is reggae and all compositions of Bob Marley. This is a family choice actually.

My favorite all-time movies is Hachiko (I keep swooning with this.).

My favorite book is Harry Potter, I think so. But I am literally planning to build a library with my books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done happened just this year. I was on a ferry traveling from Cebu to Bohol last March 2016 when I met a German couchsurfer. With our instant meet-up, I decided to go with him as he toured our province and became his personal tour guide. We went for country-side tour and island hopping. The experience was amazing and coincidentally, it was days before my birthday, April 01. It was the best gift I can give to myself. Best things really come unexpected.
