About Me
To Live life to the fullest extent, one must meet a lot of people and interact with a lot of people, for wisdom lies in the minds of the people you meet in different continents. These were the lines that kept resonating in my mind when I moved to France.
I was born and brought up in the southern part of India. Travelling has always been a passion for me since my parents took me to the Himalayas when I was about 12. I was transfixed just by the looks of the mighty mountains! I am a strong believer that travelling would teach me more than any university in the world could. I am an environmentalist at heart and have been part of many activities in India. One instance is reviving a dead lake and restoring it to its old glory in my hometown Salem. I have strived hard in India, did my Bachelors in Computer Science and have now landed in Grenoble, France to pursue my higher studies in Informatics.
I have always wanted to Backpack across Europe form the time I was 17. Finally, now I am Europe and I want to fulfil this dream of mine! I am really friendly and can adjust to any kind of situation that is thrown at me and last but not the least I love having fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling for most people is visiting a country and going to a few touristy places and hopping on a flight and getting back home. For me travelling has a very different notion. Yes, I would love to visit all the important places in the city/country I am visiting, but that alone is not what I desire. What I want is that to meet new people of that county I am visiting, know about their culture and spend quality time with them to establish a good and healthy relationship. This is the main reason for my being on Couchsurfing.
