Spontaneous, happy, determined (stubborn ? meh, a little bit perhaps, c'mon), adventurous, complicated, sharing and probably many more adjectives that I can't even think of.

Always open to meeting new people and applying the principle "if you're cool, I'm cool" (unfortunately the reverse is true as well, if you're a jackass I'm very good at imitating you :D ).

Fell in love with the ocean since before I can remember, which gave me a sense of freedom and infinity but also of humility and passion. It is entirely possible that a part of me is stuck at the age of 6-
or 7 years old as I still see magic in the world and endless beauty hidden everywhere my eyes fall. And I go completely crazy when I see a group of dolphins or the northern lights or feel sad when I reject a seashell that's not pretty enough. Anyway, if you're able to debate for hours on the existence of fairies in the forest or on the value of raspberries over vanilla cream for your brownie, we will probably get along perfectly ! But don't be scared, I can save a nice part of normality for my very serious studies in environemental sciences and marine biology/ecology. And for the grown-up world of Paris night life, which I'm starting to know and enjoy more and more as I keep meeting fantastic people to share it with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently went to Canada for an internship in a marine mammals research station and ended up hitch-hiking and couchsurfing around Quebec for 2 weeks (yes, it was way too short and I plan to go back there asap). I could say it was one of the happiest times of my life so far ! Every host we met was amazing, and it made me want to share this back with travelers here.

Interests

Scuba diving and everything related to the ocean and more extensively to nature in general (sounds cheesy and hippie but that's the harsh reality). I also enjoy exploring Paris and meeting people from everywhere around the world. Of course, traveling is also very high on my list, along with raspberries, cheesecakes and rock climbing, among other things :D. I also like cooking a lot, and inventing new delicious vegetarian recipes, showing the way to veggie happiness for meat lovers !

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much any music as long as it fits with the mood of the moment and the context (that goes from relaxing with a beer and peanuts with friends to dancing like crazy alone in my appartment)
For movies and books, I'm open to pretty much anything, on a scale of "very serious" to "how can you even read that, it's absolute non-sense". And yes, I especially like fantasy stuff and extraodinary stories that satisfy my flaming imagination. And if it doesn't, I'll just try to write them myself :)
