About Me

Not all wanderers are lost. I enjoy exploring places and finding the beauty in the small things. I'm always up for an adventure but also enjoy a relaxed day with great conversation.

I'm a marine biologist by academic background, but am working in the climate change and development space. I with several African governments on climate change related issues. I'm a activist by heart and want to spend my life fighting social and environmental injustice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning from people and think one of the most beautiful things in this world is a beautiful mind. I particularly enjoy meeting people who think differently from me. I find it is a great way to learn more about yourself through others.

Interests

I'm a marine biologist but have recently made the transition to climate change governance and policy. I work in quite an international space and get to meet people from around the world with a diverse perspective and insight into humanity.

I enjoy learning about what people value and how best to create an inclusive and progressive environment where everyone can prosper. I really enjoy hearing about people's lives and what experiences have shaped who they are. I'm a pretty open book and enjoy meaningful conversation and experiences, whether it's while chatting over a cup of coffee or or the speechless, but unforgettable, moments in life that words cannot describe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things to share in person I think.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy cooking and learning how to cook local cuisine in the places I visit is a great way to meet people and get to know them. I can cook for you and show you some of the dishes I have picked up, or just help out and make something I have never tried before.

Sharing knowledge is a deep passion of mine, particularly about my continent as many people are misinformed about Africa and what we have to offer the world. You might not be able to learn an instrument from me, but I am patient and understanding when engaging with people and am always keen to learn a new perspective on life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Open-mindedness and an eagerness to learn and experience. Conversation and the energy to explore and see what your beautiful part of the world has to teach me.
