My name is Bob, and I am from the Netherlands! I am an active person, and when I am travelling I like to explore new places and experience new sports, cultural activities or anything that a host thinks is worth seeing.

Currently, (after obtaining my bachelor's degree) I am travelling together with my girlfriend (see profile picture) and will be consisiting out of 2 guests, we are fine with sleeping anywhere. So, don't worry!

When I am surfing I like not to be treated as a hotel guest, but I like to be part of your everyday (local) life. So please teach me things about the everyday culture!

I am a great fan of music and food and see myself as an easy going and relaxed, but curious traveller.

I am comfortable with expressing myself in Dutch, English and German. I understand a lot of French, but my spoken is limited. And my Chinese is just a few words!;)

I am really interested in Photography. I am traveling with a Nikon D600 and a GoPro4 to capture as much as possible. Furthermore, I like all kinds of foods. I try everything and like the most!
My sports are wakeboarding, diving and skiing. So you'll find me around water or snow a lot!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
My passion for music is to be classified as an addiction. I play drums, a little harmonica, but listen to music every day. My style varies, but I would say my favourite is Indie/folk/rock.

Movies:
Give me plot twists and food for thought. I like inception, sixth sense, shutter island, memento and so on.

Books:
The whole serie of a song of ice and fire, into the wild and of course my own travel journals!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with bullsharks in Mexico, exploring vacant theme parks in Japan, crossing siberia by train in Russia, bungee jumping in Indonesia, wreckdiving in Thailand, white wine tasting in south africa, red wine tastin in Bordeaux, France and beer tasting in Belgium. and so on, and so on.
