Hi, my name is Tjitske from Holland! (no Amsterdam but the north)
Previous year I graduated and now I finally wanted to do something I really would love: Traveling.

- The summer I worked on a campsite near France.
- In Fall as a Au Pair for 3 months in Ireland.
- January doing workaway (work+travel) on a farm in Germany.

And then there is a lot of time left before starting college in September.
Travel plans are: Interrail for 1 month.
Innsbruck (austira)- Pompeii - Rome - Florence - Venice - Verona - Krakow (poland) - Warsawa - Berlin - Glasgow - more scotland - Lonndennn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stayed a lot in hostels, but most of the time I find it kind of un-personal. I would love to meet people who are living in the city that I visited, so I get to know the real city - and the real people, with stories about the place. Also it's a great option for cultural exchange, and to make friends!

Interests

In my spare time I like to dance, watch movies, be creative, hang out with my friends or go to music festivals, I am in to Indie Rock music. Sometimes I go horse riding with my friends on the islands, I just love it! I like enjoying the sea and nature and going for long walks just being out there enjoying fresh air. I am open to learn new things and I am not afraid to work hard.

I am just very curious in all different life styles from different cultures, I just want to truly enjoy life and appreciate the little things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Take a gap year and travel through Europe, work in different countries & meet a lot of new international people. I like to learn from everyone I met, they al have their own stories and I find it quite interesting to listen to them. + share my own experience if them are interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you Dutch, have fun conversations, share travel experience, talk about books, go to concerts (I freaking love music), I can teach some dance moves, We just can have a fun time together. Have long long conferstions about life.
