My name is Oliwia Nguyen Quoc. I am a student of Urban Planning course at Cracow University of Economics. Currently I am a Camp America participant and I work in the Camp Mohawk in Connecticut state as a support staff. I am like the kind of busy bee. I do not like to stay in routine. That is why my last three summer holidays I did not spend playing or sunbathing. I worked in the United Kingdom. What is more, it was a true life lesson and a test of dealing with problems by myself. It was a valuable part of my life which made me physically stronger and more mature. As you can see I love travelling, that is why I am here now and I'm going to explore as much as I can in the USA. Besides, I am a friendly and positive-minded person. I have a lot of friends who I can always rely on. I am a very active person who does not like sitting at home all day. That is why, when the winter is passed and it is quite warm outside I ride a bike or rollerblades or just walk. Sometimes with my friends we play volleyball outside or go to the swimming pool. Anyway, winter does not stop me from doing my activities. I like skating on the ice rink and what is the most important I love skiing. In the future I would like to try also climbing and surfing. What is more, I like dancing and that is why I have signed in to dance classed recently. When I have free time I spend it with my family which is the most important for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love travelling. I would like to make a trip all around the world. I'm still young, so I still have time. For now I have chance to see USA and I am not going to waste this opportunity. I would like to know American culture from citizens and spend time among American people. What is more, I look for people who could help me to visit the most important places and give an advice what is worth to see and what is not. Because, who can know better the home city than a citizen?

Interests

Dancing - I love watching when somebody dance. Recently, I have signed in to dance classes but I really regret that I did it so late. Anyway, better late than never.
Photography - I love taking a lot of pictures and collect it like a memory.

Actually, I don't have one favourite kind of music. For sure two of my favourite bands are Linkin Park and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. In addition, I really like Sean Paul and reggae music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very friendly and calm person who doesn't make any problems. As polish person I can share my polish culture and cuisine. We have a lot of traditional meals which are completely different than USA food. I'm sure you would like it.
