About Me
Hello! My name is Corey, and I am a Chicago-native who is currently working as an English teacher at one of South Korea's leading private high schools. My Australian friend Nicole and I will be traveling to Russia in January, 2019 for the first time. We are super thrilled about the prospect of exploring new worlds outside our own and would love to learn about the world of Russia with a willing host. We love learning about different cultures and how people navigate these cultural contexts, many of which shape their interesting and insightful perceptions about the world around them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Simply because we have friends from all over the world; we just haven't met them yet. :-]

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would love to share pictures and stories about this.^^
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak Korean fluently (not perfectly), so I would love to share about the language and culture if you're interested. I am also an American-born, half Jamaican. That could be a fun story to share while hearing yours. Nicole can teach you Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; she is really good at it! She is also part Maori!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cool stories, smiles and open ears! I think meaningful and mutual discussions can easily blossom from cross-cultural interactions.
