Hi I'm a single Mum of 2 boys aged 28 and 24. I live in a 3 bedroom house in Hurst Green, Surrey.

From Hurst Green you can travel by train to London in 45 mins, train to Eastbourne or Brighton approximately 1 hr away, 15 mins away from Westerham (Chartwell House). It is a good base for you to explore the surrounding area.

Please note I live in SURREY not LONDON, I keep getting people asking to stay thinking that I am in London. I am 20 - 25miles away.

I also have been asked to have couchsurfer's who are going to Guildford /Surrey University. I am 45 /60 mins away if driving and much longer approx 2 hrs by train so please don't ask me to put you up as I am too far away.

I love to socialise and go out and about , I love London, the Theatre and live music in our Local pubs. My sons' play in bands so I enjoy seeing them perform.

I was single for far too long and always end up going on my holidays every year on my own as the boys prefer to do their own thing. We have been skiing together but they don't fancy a summer holiday with me. They have left home two years ago so I have thespare room to put people up ( although my kitchen needs to be updated so ignore it when you vist! ) I am now in a relationship but happy to host as we both are sociable and would love make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible. We both love visiting countries and learning about new cultures. We have had some great holidays in Scotland walking and wild camping in the mountains, but it would be fantastic to be able to do some couchsurfing sometime abroad as I've only done it once on my own about 5 years ago.

I teach and find it really difficult to get holidays at a reasonable price during the holidays as I always end up paying almost double, so I thought that by couchsurfing I could see the world and meet new people much more cheaply.

I am happy to have guests ( Small spare bedroom or Bed settee in dining room ) and will take you to local places of interest if you want company.

Intereses

I love going to the Health club , gym , pool and spa. I go to unwind after work and love the yoga sessions.

I enjoy socialising, meals out, music evenings, dancing, cinema, Hiking, Walking ,camping, weekends away with friends and holidays abroad when possible.

I love easy going films , chick flicks etc.

I like reading books to do with teaching special needs, romance , autobiography's.

I like most genres of music, will always dance to 70's -80's music and sing really badly to most of it!

I did a wing walk on a by plane for my 40th birthday, it was fantastic. :-)
My son's and I have done a 15000 ft Sky dive for my 50th which was fantastic

3 years ago in Jan I started to run by using the couch to 5 K app, I managed to run 5K within the 9 weeks time period and I was overjoyed. Then in the October the next year I ran the London Maraathon and loved it ,it was exhausting but incredible , 6 .30hrs :-)

I can take you out and show you around if you want company, lots of fantastic places of interest nearby . I also get cheap theatre tickets sometimes too.
