About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why not? To my opinion it's a very convenient way to meet new and interesting people. We live in a society in which we tend to make it tough for ourselves to open up and meet new people due to our structurized lifestyle.
It took me a long time to realize I've been living in a shell and I had fears to connect with new people.
Those days belong to the past and I live to meet people to have a good laugh with and to learn from. It also helps me to visit places and to learn about cultures that you won't see when staying in hotels and resorts. It gives me so much more joy to see how people live. To know that people, even when they have no money to spare, are willing to let you stay with them, offering you food and drinks. Its heartwarming.
Interests
I love to backpack in the Philippines. I like snowboarding, watching movies, listening to music, work around the house to make something new. Ow and I can enjoy spending time by myself too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Although I can enjoy listening to almost every genre in music, what I listen mostly to is (dub)reggae, (cuban) salsa, some forms of house, deep house & techno.
Movies:
Thrillers, action, some horrors, sci-fi, war, freaky shit.
Books:
I haven't got the patience yet to read books. I do have some books with subjects about progressive selfdevelopment, 'spiritualty' and so on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In August 2015 I've been to the UK, to participate in a wingwalk experience. You'll be strapped on the wings of a Stearman biplane and fly above the beautiful landscapes near London. It was one of my most memorable experiences so far.
