Sorry, I am currently traveling through Latin-America, so I won't be able to host .. But if you want any tips on Paris you can send a message ! ALOHA How hard is it to describe yourself? I'm 23 years old. I am currently looking for a job and in the meantime I'm just spending my time wandering around, reading and enjoying life . Before I used to study economics and sustainable development - so I'm an ever undecided soul that's curious about many things and can't rest. I'm living in Paris, but I was born in Italy from an Italian mother and a Belgian father. The whole family moved to Luxembourg when I was 5. Now we're all split; my sister studies medicine in Belgium, my brother is still in Lux and I moved to France last year. I am fascinated with discovering new cultures and learning languages and customs. Oder meet I'll probably ask you how to say basic things in your language and repeat them until I get them right haha. Last year I spent six months travelling solo through Asia - and I still miss it now. I went through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar and then joined my family in Malaysia. Other than that I love reading (mostly in French - I have a never ending love for Baudelaire, Camus and Laurent Gaudé) and music even though I can't play any instrument. Sometimes I make jokes. And sometimes they're funny.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
It's a different way of traveling- discovering the country through the eyes of a local person instead of just ticking points on a list of things to see. It's like discovering the soul of a country and not just its shape. Also, I believe initiatives like couchsurfing bring people from different cultures together , and that's something we need more than ever right now. And that's definitely a community I want to be part of!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: ELECTRONIC music with a special and new love for micro house (check Isolée) and oriental electronic music (acid arab, bedouin). I also really like Indie, alternative rock music and 60's/70's rock music. Then I like Hispanic rythms, from the classics like Buena vista social club to the funktronic by la yegros. But essentially I like everything and really curious about discovering new styles of music ! Movies: I'm not a big movie watcher I have to admit.. But I watched every Almodovar movie and enjoyed every single one. Books: le spleen de Paris (Baudelaire), Geopolitique de la faim(Jean Ziegler), la chute (Camus), Ouragan (Laurent gaudé)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Sleeping in a tent in Mitzpe Ramon and on a roof in Jerusalem (Israël) Hiking in Mondolkiri, Cambodia Sleeping in a tent in the middle of spring in Copenhagen (with a lot of beers to survive the cold) Getting lost in the middle of the Sapa mountains, Vietnam Sleeping in a monastery in Myanmar
Teach, Learn, Share
We can cook together, listen to music, and share our stupidest jokes (I'm a bit shy in the beginning but give me some times and I'll let the dumb me come out)
My Interests
MUSIC food (every kind of food - even though a tough allergy to nuts, peanuts etc :( ) Traveling Reading Learning new languages Development issues which are at the core of my studies
