Hallo! Mein Name ist Stefánne Samuels and I mainly speak English. I am currently trying to learn the German language and I have dabbled a bit in Spanish and French. I was born and raised in the beautiful island Jamaica. However, I currently live in Germany. So far the German experience has been a good one. There are so many beautiful cities to see and explore and I am happy that I have been able to travel to some of these European gems.

I am just trying to enjoy life and become a worldwide traveller!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I travel to various countries I always want to experience the culture like a local. I know persons, myself included, who will travel to a city and confine themselves to a all inclusive hotel. However, as I matured I realised that you cannot fully appreciate and increase your knowledge about a country by just staying in a hotel you have to go out and walk the streets, meet the locals an enjoy the countries vibe. That is basically why I was intrigued by Couchsurfing, you get a first hand experience of the culture by staying with one of the locals....truly priceless!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was a truly magnanimous task to walk up the Blue Mountain in Jamaica. I am extremely proud of myself, if I may say so.

Also, moving to Germany in m 20's and travelling to various cities is pretty amazing for an island lady :)
