I am half Swiss, half Dutch. What I like to do is watching movies, reading books (when I'm not too lazy to begin one) and hanging out with friends. I played football for a long time, but I also really appreciate more natural sports like sailing and hiking. As I was studying at the conservatory, I used to play the piano very frequently. Now that I have left it (voluntarily), I am sadly less invested in practicing but I still try to find some moments with my keyboard.

Let's face it : a free night is always a good deal. But, obviously, there is more. I am here to share my experiences, to learn from other cultures and to meet some new friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am very eclectic in matters of of all kinds of art. My musical interests vary between hard rock, electronica, synth-pop and blues. The Stones, Led Zep, Lou Reed, Neil Young, The Cure, Elton John, Linkin Park, Kid Rock, The White Buffalo, Indochine, Stromae, Christine and the Queens, Moby, The Chemical Brothers, Annie Lennox, Ultravox, Visage, Jamie Cullum, Hugh Coltman, ... A very short selection of my favorite movies are Jack Nicholson's "One flew over the cuckoos's nest", Robin William's "Dead Poets Society" and Tom Hulce's "Amadeus". As regards TV series, I am a huge fan of "Breaking Bad" (I could eventually add "Better Call Saul"), "Dexter" and "Californication". A writer I admire a lot is Charles Bukowski .
