Also, I'll keep the profile simple and short, so you don't need to read 1000 page essay about why I'm couch surfing.

I was born and raised in Korea, but dying to see the outside world but don't have the freedom (money, lol.)
so I decided to become a Couchsurfing host in 2016, and from there, I hosted over 40+ guests in Seoul
until the pandemic started. I enjoyed having people over all the time. Sharing stories, giving gifts, culture exchanges, drinks, and going places. That's what keeps me going.

All the hosting experience came when I was single, living in a tiny ass apartment. Now that I'm married and moved to a bigger house, there's no excuse for me not to do this.

Besides Couchsurfing, I'm a freelance photographer and digital artist. I'll leave links down on My Interests.

My goal with Couchsurfing is to host at least one person from all the countries that exist on this planet.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, the world is enormous, and I wouldn't be able to see everything in my short lifetime.
So I thought meeting people from other countries would be a great choice to experience the world.
I can exchange languages, learn new cultures, hear other people's opinions about my country, etc.

Another reason is that I used to travel solo a lot. While I traveled, I got help from many people and wanted to return the favor to others who might need help. One couch isn't much, but we can let you use ours.

Oh, it's a couch bed btw. I call that a bonus.

I shoot street photography for fun. I enjoyed shooting photos when I was a kid and still digging them.

I went to Japan for a month without a single plan before I got drafted.

No plan, just a one-way ticket and a backpack. On the first night at the Airbnb where I stayed, a Russian woman talked to me about her travel experience in Japan and recommended hitchhiking across Japan. It might not be as impressive as yours, but for a whole month, asking strangers for a ride, staying at ultra-cheap places, and becoming friends with locals isn't easy, in my opinion.
