About Me

I believe we all are the hands we shake and the experiences we have in this life, so I just can say I am a philosophy student, who loves wine and food, likes talking to foreigners and hearing charming words in their languages, adores travelling and good music. And Yoga. Oh yes.
I write for il DeutschItalia, an online magazine based in Berlin and I dream about a future as journalist.
I try to be, with good results, like a chameleon - in a good way: I try to belong in any situation, being ok with what doesn't immediately get me feeling comfortable. That' how we grow up as humans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I woke up one morning with the sudden intuition that I am 20 years old, and these passed away so quick it got me scared.. with some luck I still have from 50 to 60 years to live, and I don't want to waste them with the fear of the unknown so I just want to travel and shake as many hands as possible. That's why I am here.

Interests

Languages, food (next step will be eating spiders and broccoli - same bravery level is required), yoga, landascapes, trips, movies, books, philosophy, discovering weird things (http://www.insidejobs.com/careers/chicken-sexer check this - i love this), painting with hands, extreme sports, new things, old libraries, parks, otium.

Music, Movies, and Books

" I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me... but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life..." American Beauty

MUSIC: Einaudi, classic music, danceable music, 2doorcinemaclub, Phoenix, Marra, sleazy old songs from the '90s we all like and no one admits liking..
Movies: American Beauty, Don't Move, Trans America, Casablanca, Forrest Gump, Memorie di una Geisha, sleazy cheap comedies, he's just not that into you, dottor Stranamore, the shining, kill bill, taxi driver, i nostri ragazzi, back to the future.. Harry Potter (them all, yeah)
BOOKS: Kundera is a state of mind for me, the books belonging to this collana http://www.campedel.it/collane/1235.HTM. Interesting and very specific. I love essays, it doesn't really matter about what as long as I can learn something new. La critica della ragion pura.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day there's an amazing thing in my life. From long hugs to the beauty of a flower, a scent, the sensation I feel when it's around 6 p.m in the summer, the way children with no second interests show you they love you, a dog genuinely happy to see you, the funny indifference of cats, reaching peace through yoga, sleeping under the stars, and staring at the fullest of stars sky i've ever seen in Spaing, laughing till the face hurts like hell, or when a book is too beautiful and you can't stop reading and skip sleeping, playing cards with friends and old people, and never say no to life, whatever it brings to you. This is a thing I learnt thanks to medidation, living in the present, breathing, and accepting what is happening to you, knowing that one day it won't hurt so much. It's like every day is a class, and you're learning how to live.
I think the most amazing things that Happened to me were moments, bumping into an astonishing landscape and feeling "anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life", or the seconds before a kiss, the glances
