Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I joined Couchsurfing 8 years ago because a friend who had tried it recommend me to use it. It was a great experience and a good opportunity to meet nice people and learn more about the local culture - I have very nice memories from all the times I did CS (Budapest, Luzern, Zürich, St. Galo, Konstanz and Wien so far!).

Then, in March 2023 I decided to use it again, and so far it has been amazing. I've done CS in Svalbard, Krakow, Vilnius, Kaunas, Minsk, Osaka, London, Bern, Interlaken, and Thun.

Apart from being a way of meeting genuine and interesting people (which I'm still in contact with after many years and I consider friends), I love being able to learn more about the reality and day-to-day from locals, its culture, food, and do different things (less touristic, more genuine) when travelling.

I see the fact of being suddenly having dinner with a full Swiss family, learning how to prepare cocktails in the world's northernmost settlement or making good friends for the rest of my life is awesome and priceless!!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: Electronic, German rap and 90's pop and rock mainly.
But two of my favourite songs are the Adagio in G minor from Albinoni and The Bittersweet Symphony from The Verve.

Movies: I have the tradition of watching The Lord of the Rings films at least, one every year.
The Hobbit and Star Wars (IV, V, VI and Rogue One) are my favourite ones. I also like most of the films where Denzel Washington appears.

Series: Andor, The Simpsons (if you are into them, I'll probably end up doing a Simpson's reference every 15 minutes), How I Met Your Mother...

Book: Man's Search for Meaning from Viktor Frankl it's probably one of my all time favourites.
