My name is Valérie van der Ven, I am a 23 years old Dutch girl.

I have been in Australia since the end of January and I will be travelling the country for one year.

Speaking about jobs I have different experiences in the Hospitality branche. I worked in hotels as well in restaurants. Last year I had my first fulltime job as supervisor housekeeping at Hilton Rotterdam.

At the moment I am in Cairns and I would love to stay somewhere for six weeks. I am neat and clean. Personal hygiene as well hygiene in general is important for me. I would love to help you with cleaning, cooking and other tasks in the house. I love animals so I can take care about them as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I have found a job in Cairns I would love to have my own room because of different working hours, in a hostel it is too noisy and it is more expensive to stay.
