About Me
Hello, I'm a student from Hamburg and till this summer I lived there with my family. Now, after I've finished school I've decided to leave the well known surrounding and start completely new - I'm living in the south of France now (for a year) and I'm working in a kindergarden (as a volunteer) :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great opportunity for people to connect, to find new friends - some just for an evening and others perhaps for a lifetime.
Everything can happen - it's like a lucky bag! :-)
Interests
Of course I like to meet friends,I like to cook, travel, run, read, draw, listen to music, dance, go to concerts, festivals, exhibitions or theaters... and whatever comes my way :)
Besides that I'm playing volleyball since some years and I play the traverse flute

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
There's not one specific genre or artist I prefer, if a song strikes me it does :) I think I'm listening to a lot of Alternative and Indie stuff, but not only.. at the moment I love the song "Decency" from Balthazar or "Wicked Streets" from J. Bernardt
Movies/Series:
a lot, and also totally different stuff, just ask if you're interested to talk about it :)
Books:
Haruki Murakami is an interesting author in my opinion, but also for example Markus Zusak, Jostein Garder, Banana Yoshimoto, Andrei Makine...
But the Harry Potter books will always be a part of my favorites, i've learned to read through them :)
I really love books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived for two months in Accra (Ghana) as I was 16 years old and went there to school, it wasn't always easy, but it was an experience I wouldn't have wanted to miss... It's a part of my history and of myself
