Hi guys! My name is Monika, I like to think I am fun and easy going person haha.
I come from Poland, however after I finished IB Studies I moved out to the Uk, Leeds with my boyfriend to gain some experience!
Somehow I live here for 2 years already ( not sure how it happen, time flies too fast)..

I am absolutely obsessed with traveling of course, to the point I sometimes feel like I’m going to pass out from excitement before a nice trip 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I love creating memories and capturing moments on photos and videos. I recently bought a drone so I’m doing my best to learn this skill!

I am fascinated with social media marketing and how it operates.

I am a simp for nature.. I can’t explain the connection I feel with it. I love to paint or edit videos to relax. I also love music and dancing. Therefore, pubs and discos had always a close in my heart!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing as I simply want to meet new people, explore the world and create new memories with amazing people who are passionate about traveling, as me!

Why I’m here?

I think I was just fed up with other people’s promises about traveling. ‘Yes, Monika I would definitely like to travel’, ‘ Omg yes, it sounds so cool, let’s save money and go some day!’ Well, unfortunately some day has never happened..

One day my friend from high school exchange invited me to visit her in Paris again after few years. I decided it is a brilliant idea and I would love to visit her.
This was my first trip by a plane on my own! And it was that day that I absolutely lost my 🌸 for traveling haha. I fell in love with the feeling of happiness, being free and fully myself. Therefore, shortly after that I was looking for some cheap ways to travel, see the world and meet new people and I was lucky enough to find Couch Surfing and I would always be grateful for that. I met some amazing people on my way and they will always have a place in my heart. I am here for, memories, honesty, goofy stories and beautiful views!

It’s hard to say I love many different kinds of music!
I am obsessed with series so I have to be careful and plan when to watch it since I won’t go to sleep until I finish the season 😅

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually it would be the fact that I found this place, met amazing people that I shared and created memories with!

One time in Jordan 🇯🇴 I was snorkeling for 6h without coming back to rest on a beach because coral reef and fishies were too cool and it was my last day. Don’t ask me how I did it I can barely swim like a normal person.

I went hitchhiking to Netherlands with my friend and some lady took us home from a train and gave us apartment for a full week for free, she was one of the most know people in the Haga Embassy.

One time in Malta I got stung by jellyfish and her full body stayed on my back for 2 years. It hurt like hell but I regret that it is gone now, I loved it!
