About Me

Just moved to Australia (Melbourne) running away from winter after 4 years living in Ireland.

Above anything I would say that what drives me in life is curiosity and a desire for discovering... whatever! I guess that is why many of us love to travel

This curiosity is what has taken me to live amazing adventures travelling throughout the world :D (sometimes with friends, some other alone and some others with people like you, couchsurfers;) Meeting new people, getting to know different mindsets, personalities and cultures...These are some of the reasons why I love traveling.

I consider myself as extroverted, amusing, enthusiastic, friendly and funny (at least that is what people use to say about me:) I use to have good rapport with people, although, as everyone, not everyone will like me and nor will I. Nevertheless I will always approach every person respectfully and with curiosity, everyone has a story to tell.

I love to play any sport there is to play! Although Martial arts and climbing are my favorites. I will always enjoy a good Chess match too.

I also used to be a Lifeguard.

I am more interested in going to the mountains or exploring cities than staying at the beach; love to get lost and discover places.

I embrace adventures and challenging ideas. I love to talk and discuss about anything and it doesn´t matter you do not think or feel the same as I do, we both can learn something from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Joined couchsurfing because I think it represents an alternative to what we usually understand as traveling and sightseeing. For me It is an opportunity to get in touch with the local people and travelers, getting an insight into their culture and life style. I also like to travel alone sometimes so this is a good way to meet people in the places I visit.

So far I have mostly been able to assist to travellers meet ups than actually couchsurf! But have met many CS's at this meetings and hostels anyway, thats what is interesting about travelling!

Getting in touch with people that can show me around the place that I visit, sitting down and having a nice talk, meeting with other travelers, exchanging ideas and experiences, even hosting me if I needed to... that is why I joined! :D

I would love to learn how to cook traditional dishes of the countries that I might visit... I can show you how to cook a nice spanish tortilla :)

I would love to put in practice my French... it has been quite a long time that I cannot speak French with someone... portuguese also.

If you are willing to learn spanish and you already know the language... you can practice with me!
