About Me

HI THERE!!

My name is Mladen Ristić, I come from a small city in north of Bosnia called Doboj. I'm currently 25 years old. I currently live in Tuzla in Bosnia & Herzegovina, where the air is terrible in winter (tip: only visit in summer).
I did one year at the Faculty of Math in Banja Luka studying programming, which there really wasn't that much of, it was mostly math :( so I dropped out, taught myself the craft of programming, landed a cool job and moved away from my parents to another city!
I have a music studio in my apartment in Tuzla and play a lot of different instruments. Some of them ethnic.
I work as a software developer in a very small (almost garage-type) company.
Outside of work, I enjoy socializing with friends, beer, live music (usually rock, metal, or jazz, but I'll literally give anything a try and see if it's my thing), playing the guitar, and more recently playing kaval (ney).
I also like hitchhiking very much because it puts me in unimaginable situations and I get to see snippets of people's lives for a brief time which always gives insights into other ways of living.
