Hey, I'm Valentin, a young and open-minded person who like to discover different cultures from all over the world. Just recently graduated from university in renewable energies, now discovering Taiwan and Japan. During my studies I missed long term travelling a lot. Therefore I'm quite happy to meet as many kind people as I can on my journey.

Atm a friend from my studies and I are exploring Taiwan by bicycle. On our route we are highly hoping to dive deeply into Taiwanese culture and meet many interesting people on our way. We're looking forward to share good stories and experiences with u !

I´m on Couchsurfing because I think it´s a good way to travel cheap and to really get to know the country by first hand experiences.

MY COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCES

July 2017

I made a backpacking trip through Greece with my friend. On our trip we visited Athens and Thessaloniki, the islands Skiathos and Skopelos and hiked on the Olympos. Furthermore we discovered " the middle finger " Sithonia and found many beautiful beaches nearby.
We found two very friendly hosts in Thessaloniki but in the rest of the country we received a lot of declined responses because we asked for staying one night very spontaneously.
I also think that lots of Greeks were on vacation at that time and so not able to host somebody.

Short trip to Porto; Me and a friend of mine discovered the ancient cities Porto, Guimarães and Braga.
During the Christmas time you HAVE TO VISIT Guimarães. You feel like beeing in a wonderful dream.

September 2018

Visited my friend in Singapore, stayed there for one week.

2018-2019

I've explored the whole continent Australia while driving once around with my van.

August 2020

A friend of mine and myself went to the northest point of Sweden and hikes in 22 days 450km. The trail was called "Kungsleden" and I can highly recommend it to everyone who's into hiking.

I love travelling and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, mountain-biking, kayaking and many more. As I already had some quite adventurous travel journeys, I'm more than happy to share some good stories with you.

Another interst of mine is lightpaitning and photography. I'd love to share my lighpaiting experiences!

Furthermore I'm enormously interested in other cultures and languages. While corona times I started learning simplified mandarin. It's a nice but difficult language to learn.

Road-trip throught Iceland where I´ve seen active vulcanos, giant waterfalls and gush springs.

I saw one of the most beautiful beaches in my live in Greece. It's nearby the Orange beach which is located on Sithonia.
