About Me

I am a student who normally studies in Istanbul, at Bahcesehir University although I am at the BAU Internationale University of Applied Sciences in Berlin right now for a kind of an exchange programme. I haven't traveled a lot but I am -hopefully- going to start to explore the world from now on.

I am an extrovert and friendly person who usually gets well with pretty much every one :). I am talkative and I love meeting new people.

Now that I am a student who is studying abroad I cannot have any guests but like I said earlier, I would love to meet up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because to be honest I find couch surfing really wise and trusting. It is a system that makes you believe in humanity. I don't mean to be one of those girls who is in a beauty competition and says "world peace", I just really mean what I say. Because if you can help out a person who would really appreciate that you would also be affected by it and maybe you may even gain a good friend. We have a saying in Turkish that goes "Collect people, not money" and I think that saying was made for couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Punk Rock, Pop Punk, Electronic Soul, Alternative Rock, Progressive Rock... and it actually goes on. I think I love a tons of types of music. It just depends on the context.

Movies: This is a question that you should NEVER ask a film student :) But I will go with a few: Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Se7en (no, they are my not top 3, they are only the first ones that came to my mind in my "favourites" category.)

Books: I am not that much of a book person but I like horror like Stephen King and I also like girly John Green books. I am mostly into reading on film, like articles or course books. Oh and I actually like Boris Vian like "Froth on the Daydream" kind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, well, I guess it can be the time that I went camping with my friends for 9 days and went to the beach at one night of it, the stars were very bright and there were hundreds of them, also there was a full moon (If it wasn't we would probably have seen more stars) and you could also see the planktons in the sea when you got in. So it was a "must live" and a "must see" moment. I believe that was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Turkish, using a DSLR or minor stuff on filmmaking :)
I am really open to learning, and I would love to learn anything from a person that I meet up or couchsurf to.
I would love to share my story and my spare time with the person I meet up or couchsurf to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would literally share anything I can with my host. I would also love to take my host out for a meal or a coffee for their kindness or I can shop and cook for him/her. Other than that like I said I can share my company, spare time and my story. I have visited a few nice places in Turkey that I can give advice on :)
Sorry in advance if I am unqualified as a surfer :)
