I'm a 26-year old student currently living in Queens NY. I like sharing meals and stories, playing games and being outside.
Things I can offer to hosts:

English Lessons

* Food - I know a handful of recipes really well if you want to cook a meal together

Child Care: I am great with kids! volunteer weekly with disabled youth and used to teach a gardening class to a small k - 12 group in up state ny. I also babysat frequently for a former roomate of mine taking care of his 3 year old daughter l.
* Conversation- I think i have some good stories and Its not that hard to make me laugh

* Dance partner/ associate - I love live music and dancing to it!

* Garden work - If you happen to have one

* Massage - I am trained in nuad boran , and shiatsu massage and have received many other kinds of bodywork such as rolfing and Chinese Accupressure that influence my style

No longer what I'm doing but indicative of things that I like to do! :

currently live and work at a collective in upstate NY dedicated to empowering marginalized people with the skills and critical lens to live as free from exploitative systems as possible. I work in the gardens as a laborer and an educator for preschool kids. I also help with construction projects and lumberjacking. I am by no means an expert in any of these fields but am learning as I go. I am taking this time to travel so that I might learn and teach, broaden my horizons and get a better sense of the world and my place in it. That being said I am especially interested in ecologically minded in self sufficient living, social justice, and other alternative community models. I like Dumpster diving , upcycling, sharing, teaching each other things for free, spontanious and planned collaborative creativity (songs, stories, murals, plays, ect!), kung fu movies, and other neat things like that. Let's do something cool together!
