Hello, hello, let me introduce myself here. I'm Juan Cruz from Argentina, a passionate traveler of planet Earth. I joined this beautiful community in 2017, but I truly became a part of it in 2025, when I embarked on an epic journey through Africa, starting in Morocco and ending in Cape Town in a month, a journey of almost nine months through this continent so unknown to me.
And since we started sharing each place, arriving with people from Couchsurfing completely changed the trip. It made it much more enriching. Being able to truly connect with local people, learn about their customs, their culture, their food, and so many other things added something super special to the trip.
Once Africa is over, the adventure continues to Asia, and from there, who knows where? 🥰
Personally, I'm a very simple person, with great empathy, a lover of sports, good conversation, food with its different flavors from around the world, and so many other things that life on the move teaches you.
In 2009, I made my first trip to Cuba, and at that moment, I discovered that traveling was my passion, and that I wouldn't stop doing it for a long time (it's been 16 years since that moment).
Since the pandemic, I've been traveling with my great life partner, Aida, from Mexico, a unique and unrepeatable being who is impossible not to love 🥰. I haven't stopped adventuring with her since we met in 2020. Together, we're very interested in sharing a space in Baja California Sur (espacio amor), so we can give back to this wonderful community a little of all the magic it gives us.
