Hello, hello, let me introduce myself here. I'm Juan Cruz from Argentina, a passionate traveler of planet Earth. I joined this beautiful community in 2017, but I truly became a part of it in 2025, when I embarked on an epic journey through Africa, starting in Morocco and ending in Cape Town in a month, a journey of almost nine months through this continent so unknown to me.
And since we started sharing each place, arriving with people from Couchsurfing completely changed the trip. It made it much more enriching. Being able to truly connect with local people, learn about their customs, their culture, their food, and so many other things added something super special to the trip.
Once Africa is over, the adventure continues to Asia, and from there, who knows where? 🥰
Personally, I'm a very simple person, with great empathy, a lover of sports, good conversation, food with its different flavors from around the world, and so many other things that life on the move teaches you.
In 2009, I made my first trip to Cuba, and at that moment, I discovered that traveling was my passion, and that I wouldn't stop doing it for a long time (it's been 16 years since that moment).
Since the pandemic, I've been traveling with my great life partner, Aida, from Mexico, a unique and unrepeatable being who is impossible not to love 🥰. I haven't stopped adventuring with her since we met in 2020. Together, we're very interested in sharing a space in Baja California Sur (espacio amor), so we can give back to this wonderful community a little of all the magic it gives us.

🇦🇷Hola, hola, me presento. Soy Juan Cruz, de Argentina, un apasionado viajero por el planeta Tierra. Me uní a esta hermosa comunidad en 2017, pero realmente me uní a ella en 2025, cuando me embarqué en un viaje épico por África, comenzando en Marruecos y terminando en Ciudad del Cabo en un mes, un viaje de casi nueve meses por este continente tan desconocido para mí.
Y desde que empezamos a compartir cada lugar, llegar con gente de Couchsurfing cambió por completo el viaje. Lo hizo mucho más enriquecedor. Poder conectar de verdad con la gente local, aprender sobre sus costumbres, su cultura, su gastronomía y tantas otras cosas le agregó algo súper especial.
Una vez que termina África, la aventura continúa hacia Asia, y de allí, ¿quién sabe adónde? 🥰
Personalmente, soy una persona muy sencilla, con mucha empatía, amante de los deportes, la buena conversación, la comida con sus diferentes sabores de todo el mundo y tantas otras cosas que la vida en movimiento te enseña. En 2009, hice mi primer viaje a Cuba, y en ese momento descubrí que viajar era mi pasión y que no dejaría de hacerlo por mucho tiempo (han pasado 16 años desde entonces).
Desde la pandemia, he estado viajando con mi gran compañera de vida, Aida, de México, un ser único e irrepetible a quien es imposible no amar 🥰. No he dejado de aventurarme con ella desde que nos conocimos en 2020. Juntos, estamos muy interesados en compartir un espacio en Baja California Sur (espacio amor), para poder devolverle a esta maravillosa comunidad un poco de toda la magia que nos regala.
