Hi! I'm a Chinese-Canadian - born in Beijing, but spent most of my life in Toronto. I guess you could say I became sick of the educational rut I was stuck in, and decided that I should take some time off from school and learn about the rest of the world. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to learn about a new culture is to hang out with the locals. Plus, it's a great way to make a new friend along the way. I love listening to and sharing stories!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm guilty of mostly listening to top-50 playlists (which includes Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, etc). Movies: Toy Story movies, and anything with Benedict Cumberbatch Books: I wish I could give a more sophisticated answer, but Harry Potter is still my favourite series of all time.

Take a break from school for a year to travel (and work for a bit...to fund my travels).
