Hi, my name is Roman and I come from Czech Republic. I would like to visit as many countries as I can in this life. One of the reasons why I would like to explore so many cultures and landscapes is that I want to be a writer one day. I´m currently working on my first novel plus my roads are great inspiration for my poems and occasional songs as I believe this is the the way I can pay all kindness to this world back. I´m also interested in environmental crisis and would like to be a part of some helpful project everywhere I can if it´s for a good thing.
My hobbies are music, guitar, hiking, nature, skateboarding, football, writing and traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had spent a lot of time in my country before i found traveling as one of the best things for me. I´m really thankful for this opportunity to meet new places and new people here and have a good time with them.

I love music. I prefer guitar music. I also like World music because of variety of sounds and musical instruments.

For example my most favourite musicians are Bob Marley, John Frusciante, Eric Clapton, Paolo Nutini or Neil Young.

My favourite bands are The Beatles, Nirvana, Rhcp, Ramones, Arcade fire and many others.

My favourite book is No cure for cancer by Denis Leary and my favourite writer is Czech poet Jaroslav Seifert. I like american literature of 20th and 21st century.

My favourite movies are trilogy Lord of the rings, Lords of Dogtown, Into the Wild, American Pie with original cast, Blow and Tim Burton Movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am proud of some things I´ve done but the biggest one is the moment when I obtained work permit to Canada.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be helpful in many ways. I´ve got some knowledges about cooking and gardening and I´m not scared of physicall work if it´s needed.
