About Me

Hello, I'm Alberto! I'm from the most beautiful city in the world, Gijón(north of Spain) but currently I'm studying in Toledo.
I am an easy-going person who wants to discover new places, cultures and food around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was looking for a way to travel which allows me to meet native people and to be able to enjoy the culture of the countries I visit as much as posible, this is how I found couchsurfing. Looked for some info in forums, asked a couple of friends and here I am, writing my profile.

Interests

I love mountain and water sports. I like rock climbing and canyoning, I also love trekking and camping wherever I want to.
I cannot survive more than a month far away from the sea. I love sailing (I'm master of recreational boats), diving and practicing underwater fishing
I usually spend my free time meeting friends, going out and as a volunteer in the Red Cross, in the Spanish SAR service.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I like all kinds of music, it all depends on where I am or what I'm doing. I Specially love live indie and rock music, and honestly, as a good Spaniard if I'm at a party and a reggeton hit or a bachata comes on my body will start dancing and singing unconsciously

MOVIES & SERIES
I prefer watching series much more than films. I could spend all night with them but I realized some time ago that it is not healthy. Some of my fav are Shameless , SOA, Vikings, Narcos.....
My favorite film is American Pie. It's weird, I know, but it's true.

BOOKS
My fav literary genre is Spanish historical novel. Books: El sol de Breda, un día de cólera(Arturo Pérez-Reverte), La cuarta trama (Jose María de Pablo)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a clown, sometimes, at hospitals, well... also out of them too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook typical Spanish and Asturian dishes and teach you how to, I can share some stories and I can transform a boring night into a memorable party(at least for myself).
I would love to receive some language lessons in order to be able to survive abroad and of course it would be a pleasure to teach you some Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Due to my job I cannot host anybody. Even so, I would love to give you a tour or share a beer with anyone who wants to visit Toledo or Gijón.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
