Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Of course the cliche but true best way to experience places is to meet locals and experience the lifestyle. I'm relatively new to the online couch surfing concept but in an informal sense have participated when I've come across backpackers/hitch hikers along the way in my home town (gateway towards the Nullarbor, a frequented journey for travellers in Aus) and offered them a place to stay and recharge. I love sharing my local knowledge and home/washing machine/a kitchen to cook in and hearing their adventures and plans
