Hiya!
My name is Klara (as you could probably tell) and I live in the grand capital of Slovenia! I'm really down to earth and chill and I like meeting new people, especially from different countries because I keep finding that we're more alike than we think.

My main two passions in life are music and vegan food! I recently just started DJ-ing and I absolutely love it, I also love to sing (I'm quite shy though so you'll have to ask me a couple times) and pour my heart out playing instruments. It's the best remedy when you're in a bad mood.
I love making tasty and delicious food even though it might not seem so because I'm vegan, haha. I've been vegetarian for 5 years and have been vegan for 2 but I promise I'm not annoying when it comes to veganism - as long as you let my do my thing, I will let you do yours no questions ask.
I'm also into languages so I'd love it if I could learn some new ones along my travels. I love the feeling when you talk to a native speaker in their language - it's so awesome!
I enjoy reading, chilling, playing piano and guitar in the daytime and I like going out at night but I'm also perfectly fine just staying in and watching a movie or maybe play some Uno (I never get sick of that game).
I currently study Slovene language and literature at Uni and I really like history and biology. I'm kinda addicted to history documentaries and I watch a lot of period drama - I think I was born in the wrong century. I find almost everything super interesting though and I read a lot.

Poetry, arts and music have always been really fascinating to me and I love learning about them as well as just admiring all the stuff people can think of in their imagination.

I've also recently gotten into analog photography and trying to master it, that's why all my photos are grainy and old looking (but that's part of the charm) :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's the best way to meet new people and get to know different cultures through staying with some locals or hosting tourists. And it's really cool because you make friends all over the world.

Favourite music is Amélie soundtrack, Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, Debussy, Chopin, Queen, Vampire Weekend, Bombay Bicycle Club, J Hus and the list goes on and on ...

My favourite movies change with time but one of my favourites are Pride and Prejudice, Laurence Anyways, Amélie, The Godfather, The Big Lebowski just to name a few

Regarding books Harry Potter series are definitely my childhood favourite but other favourites are Dracula, Wuthering Heights, anything by Haruki Murakami, 1984, I really like Charles Dickens

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Princess Nokia's concert in Gent, was in the front row and sang an entire song with her while holding hands. It was crazyyy!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Slovene or basic Serbo-Croatian, give you a brief Slovene history course, cook some nice vegan food (I promise it will taste good!).
