Hola, mi nombre es Alexis, y tengo 24 años y soy de la Patagonia Argentina. Antes de empezar este viaje vivía en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, trabajaba en un teatro como asistente de sala, y estudiaba Artes en la UBA. Este 2020 lo empecé en México, en lo que se suponía que iban a ser unas vacaciones de un mes en las que iba a intentar descubrir la orientación que quería seguir en mi carrera. Pero un dia en Cobá, a pocos días de mi vuelta, me di cuenta de que no quería regresar, y de que nada me haría más feliz que seguir viajando. Una de las cosas que más disfruto de este viaje es que es una montaña rusa de emociones. En mi opinión en la ciudad es fácil entrar en la rutina y escaparle a los sentimientos, pero cuando viajamos esto se vuelve imposible. Cada día conocemos gente nueva con la que conectamos de diferentes maneras. Conecciones sin embargo que tenemos que aprender a soltar, a veces inclusive muy pronto, cuando nuestros caminos toman rumbos diferentes.

Hi, my name is Alexis and I'm 24 years old and I'm from the Argentinian Patagonia. Before I started this trip I was living in Buenos Aires, working in a Theater as an assistant, and and studying Arts in the University of Buenos Aires. I started 2020 in México, on what was supposed to be a month holiday in which I was going to figure out what mayor I wanted to persue. But one day in Cobá, a few days before catching my flight back home, I decided I didn't wanted to go back, and that nothing could make me happier than to keep on traveling. One of the things I enjoy the most about this trip is that it is a rollercoaster of emotions. In my opinion when you are living in a city it's really easy to get caught in the everyday routine and escape emotions, but when you're traveling that's impossible. Each day we meet new people, and connect with them in different ways. Connections that we also have to learn to let go, sometimes to fast, when our paths go different ways.

En el pasado recibí muchos huéspedes de todo el mundo en la casa de mis padres pero usando el usuario de mí hermana, Melina Blas. Hace seis años que vivo en Buenos Aires, donde continúo mis estudios en Artes en la UBA, y trabajo en un teatro como asistente de sala. Si no estoy viajando, me gusta recibir a personas que conocí durante mis viajes, o a cualquier persona que lo necesite. Una de las cosas que aprendí en este tiempo es que lo más importante de viajar, no termina termina siendo tanto los lugares que visitamos, sino la gente que conocemos. Viajando tuve la suerte conocer a las personas mas maravillosas que puedan imaginar, de las cuales aprendí y continúo aprendiendo mucho. Siento que en este momento de mi vida la mejor forma de seguir creciendo es viajando, justamente a través de las personas que cruzan mi camino, y es por eso que estoy en Couchsurfing. In the past I recibed guests in my parents house but using my sister's user, Melina Blas. I'm from the Argentinian Patagonia, but now it's been six years since I live in Buenos Aires, where I continue my studies in Arts in the University of Buenos Aires, and work in a theatre as an assistant. If I'm not traveling, I like to welcome in my home the people that I've met during my trips, or anyone that needs to Couchsurf. One of the things I learned while traveling is that the places you visit don't end up being as important as the people you get to know. On this trip in Mexico I met the most wonderful people you could imagine, from whom I learned and keep on learning everyday. I feel like in this moment of my life the best way to keep on growing it's by traveling, through the people that come along my path, and that's why I'm in Couchsurfing.
