I am Etienne, 25 years old. I am from Montreal, Canada.

I've been travelling for the last 2 years around Australia and Asia. I am sociable open-minded guy. I always wanted to travel since I was young and in 2015 my dream came true when I visited Haiti for the first time. Since that first experience, I knew I would see a lot more of this beautiful world.

Haiti was the moment I opened my eyes on one reality. The chance I had to be born i the abundance.
That sometimes I take stuff for granted. Appreciate what I have.

But afterward I realize that even in my country alot of people are not fully satisfied. That's why I decided to go around the world to see what make people happy. I realize that mostly everyone have the same needs, just search it differently. That's why I am coming to visit you.. to know what make you happy.. or not !

I really love Tea .. any kind as long as its not lipton.

Trying my best to buy organic. and good food.

In transition of beeing vegetarian. So if you have any recipe or ideas of vegan-vegeterian meal.. feel free to share it with me.

I am ready to learn every languages. But if there is something I learned travelling, is the universal language .. the one of the hearth. It might sound funny, but one of the value my friends would attribute me is my listening capacity. I always try to listen a bit more than I talk. Because in life you never stop learning ! The more you know.. the more you realize you don't know anything.. I believe we are all ignorant.. and the goal is life is to become less.

That's why two years ago I decided to go alone with my backpack to live in Australia.
I've met alot of amazing people and I learned alot about myself and what I want in my life.
even though I have to go home in august. I truly believe the trip will continue all my life. To make your life amazing .. its easy you just have to do it. Firmly believe in law of attraction :

We attract who we are. The energy is contagious and the vibe also. Hopefully I can fill your place with some good energy and leave with some of yours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never had the occasion to use couchsurfing before. But I always been a bit curious about trying it.

Happy to share stories. Not really into small talk but definitely for a good deep conversation. I believe every person you meet give you something. Can be good ... can be bad .. but at the end is your job to decide what you do with that knowledge.

I promise to be a good guest and I can definitely learn some french or english .

Rupi Kaur melted my heart with her beautiful poetry. Milk and honey.. The sun and her flowers.. because we never talked enough about feminism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled 2500kms to get a job interview. To finally realize the interview was not at this location...

In fact it's probably the most stupid thing I did in my life.. but at least I finally got the job.
