Hello everyone! Hope you are doing great and enjoying your day whatever weather is outside!

I am student from Russia, who was selected as one of the 70 students who'd get a scholarship to study in the US for a year. I was placed in the University of Minnesota and I'm happy to be here regardless of the severe weather!

UPD: now interested in film-making, not sure if it's a big thing, but takes all my free time now. I'm also interested in entrepreneurship, business, marketing and all that stuff even though my major is political science and world politics and it's fine and interesting but I'd probably change it if I had a chance.

I used to watch netflix a lot - that was a good way both to watch a good show and learn English. Netlfix is also interesting from the side oh how they use big data and how it creates binge-watching using analytics and creating addiction.

Would really appreciate your playlist as I'm trying to listen to more of American music while I usually prefer Russian artists and we actually have got not bad ones, but I'm trying to improve my language here, so.

I am trying to live active life both socially and physically, I used to train water polo and volleyball professionally, now I sometimes go to the gym or do jogging just to keep fit. Love playing soccer, but it's not relevant for the US.

Trying to be environmentally-conscious and eating healthy.

What I wrote quite a while ago and I don't like the use of language here, but still:

I love to enjoy a society of laid-back, down-to-earth people who are able to relish the moment. I Love also doing crazy stuff though, acting with full of energy people, whom nobody can stop. I Love making people feel something out of the ordinary, make people go out of their everyday patterns, make them think about something, I aspire to become a person who would inspire others.

Because it's an amazing share-economy example which makes your travelling not just cheaper, but more valuable and unique as you meet interesting individuals who share at least 2 same passions with you - meeting new people and being open-minded to new experiences.
