I am an Erasmus Mundus scholar from the Phililippines. My friend introduced me to the concept of couchsurfing, and I am interested to try this system and meet new friend as I explore Europe during my stay here. It would also be interesting to host potential guests when I get back to my country since Philippines is known for its amazing beaches like Boracay and Palawan, enormous seafood, and hospitable people. I hope to gain new experiences from this community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new friends while traveling and to fully immerse in the culture of the places I'm traveling to. I believe that no one knows how to explore and enjoy a place other than its locals.

Interests

I'm quite the techy adventurer. I love and study the sea and its amazing organisms. I often travel in different coastal areas during my field works. During my free time from work (and now school), I often play mobile and computer games as well as watch anime and read manga. I also play chess and competed during my younger years. I would like to travel around the world and know more about the story of the people and their culture to have complete experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a mixed playlist from different artists because I appreciate a song through its lyrics and its relevance to my experiences. However, I often prefer the hopeless romantic songs.

I don't really read books. I often want the summarized information or materials with a lot of visual representations. This explains my preference of manga and short articles.

I prefer sci-fi, comedic and thriller themes. Some of my favorites are The 3 idiots, Inception, and Sherlock Holmes.

Exploring almost all the beaches of my region's island for free or within reasonable prices.

I can be introverted at first, but once I loosen up and trust my company, I often find pleasure in exchanging ideas and experiences to widen my perspective about life. I am a good listener and I'm quite particular about the details of people's stories.
