Overview
About Me
I am Kevin Keenoo from Mauritius. I have visited more than 20 countries and I am still counting. I love traveling, reading, writing and inspiring others. I am presently employed as a contractor for the United Nations, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the capacity of the Human Resources and Compliance Manager. My job has taken me to countless countries and in my own capacity, I have backpacked to various countries too. I have completed a bachelor's degree in management and a master's degree in human resources management.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the world is too beautiful and there's still humanity in different nook and corners of our planet. I believe people are good and each of them has a distinct story to tell us. For us to find these stories and to appreciate the humanity within each person, we must travel, listen widely to stories, sink into foreign cultures and seek to understand their version of life. Couchsurfing is the platform that helps to connect foreigners, weave the stories and establish the link of compassion and friendship.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can narrate the trekking experiences of African and India mountains. I can share the spiritual connection with nature. I can describe what it takes to live and work in one of the most dangerous towns of the world, that is Goma, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I can speak greatly about the survival strategies in a war-torn country. I can present my clearest ideas for a better Africa. I can highlight the contrast characterising the different states of India. I can share the essential tips one needs to know when backpacking to Europe. The narration of my own life's journey is another dose of inspiration too.
